Christina—known affectionately as Tina—is the heart and soul of the kennel. At 11 years old, she’s the proud matriarch and a beloved figure to dogs and humans alike. She’s raised not one, but two litters of amazing pups: the Fruits (Blueberry, Clementine, Rhubarb, Peach, and Fig) and the 10-Pack (Panic, Ripper, Lefse, Rafa Nadal, Finch, Oona, Opal, Polly, Ultraviolet, and Zombie). She was a phenomenal mother and now delights in watching her babies—fully grown and thriving—carry on her legacy.
Tina spends nearly every moment with her biggest fan, Stanley (affectionately called “Uncle Stan”), who adores her beyond words. Together, they’re the elder dream team of the kennel.
Tina is also Carrie’s loyal running partner and protector. When they jog together, she runs wide circles around her human, always on alert for moose, cars, or anything out of place—her vigilance never wavers.
These days, Tina enjoys a quieter life. She’s earned her spot in the upstairs bed where she can lounge in warmth during the winter and gaze out the window, keeping an eye on the action below. Watching her grown pups head out on runs brings her joy, and even in retirement, she remains the queen of her domain.
Christina isn’t up for adoption, but she’d be honored to have a sponsor to help support her well-deserved golden years. She’s wise, graceful, and full of love—everything a true matriarch should be.
