Possum is a one-of-a-kind personality in the kennel. Part of the infamous Critter Litter, this 7-year-old firecracker is equal parts sweetheart and sass. She’s a total mama’s girl who’s a little shy with unfamiliar men, but once she’s comfortable, her high-pitched screech (perfectly matched to her brother Muskrat’s) will make sure everyone knows she has something to say.
Possum’s got a quirky streak a mile wide. Despite her age, she remains hilariously submissive to the “old lady” Siberians, Rosebud and Millie. When loose, she’ll bolt straight to them, flop onto her back, and roll around like a puppy trying to win their approval. But don’t be fooled—she won’t take any nonsense from anyone else. Possum has a strong personality and needs a watchful eye during free runs to avoid brawls with other females who try to test her.
She adores her time inside the house—but only if the temperature is just right. If it’s too warm, she’ll politely ask to be let back out where she’s happiest: cool and a little bit wild.
Possum isn’t available for adoption, but she’d love to have a sponsor cheering her on. She may be a bit odd, but she’s 100% lovable in her own Possum-y way.
