Ruby is a quiet soul with a spark that shines in unexpected moments. Though naturally shy, there’s something about her that draws kids in—children seem to instinctively gravitate toward her gentle presence. She’s not the loudest or the flashiest dog in the kennel, but those who take the time to get to know her discover a very special heart.
Part of the Fruit Litter alongside Clementine, Peach, Blueberry, and Fig, Ruby can lead when needed, though she prefers a supporting role. She is, however, a total cheerleader. She’s always the first one up and barking with enthusiasm after camping, rallying the rest of the team like a furry little morning motivator.
Ruby has also mastered the art of communication—she knows how to “speak” on command and will mimic a joyful “roo roo” whenever Carrie says it to her. She’s even working on a “whisper roo roo,” because why not be adorable and polite?
Though usually calm and composed, Ruby occasionally lets loose when playing with her sisters, getting just a little carried away in the best possible way.
